Food was excellent. We started with the trio which included clams , sausage, and calamari. Highly recommended. We also had the octopus, which was very flavorful and tender. The atmosphere is very nice and elegant. They have a valet parking lot across from the place which was nice. What was not so nice was the service. They had no hostess so it was bit confusing to figure out how to get a table. We had to hunt a waiter down to get a table. Once seated they took our order within 10 minutes, but once the food came, We never saw the waiter again. We had to hunt down others to get refill on drinks, dessert menu, and our check. That was the only thing that needed improvement and kept me from giving them a perfect rating.

We have been coming to Valenca for many, many years and rarely disappointed. Today, we both ordered cod two different ways. The fish tasted fresh, the sides, boiled potatoes, and broccoli were clean and worked perfectly with Chris's cod due to the saltiness of the fish. My first time trying fried pieces and their potato salad. Again, my cod tasted incredible. The cod was not that salty, and the understated potato salad was an excellent combo. I usually like tarter sauce with my fried fish, but this dish did not need anything but a squeeze of lemon. So good. Didn't get a chance to take pics of dessert, coffee, and after lunch liqueurs, but a great ending to our lunch/early dinner. In addition to the meal we ordered a bottle of wine and house salad. We noticed that 20% gratuity is now included in the bill. Something new. We don't mind the addition since we always leave at least that amount. But I'm sure there are a lot of peeps that don't appreciate and / or reward good service. One last point, we always sit in the bar section.

Was told about Valencia Restaurant while checking in at the hotel near the airport. WOW amazing service, amazing portions of food and great flavor. I highly recommend stopping in for dinner. We sat in the outdoor bar area during winter. They had it closed in and heated and it was absolutely perfect!

Great meal. Rib eye and stuffed shrimp were great. A few tables over were some wanna be gambino boys that dropped the f bomb all meal. Waiter John seemed hesitant to say something. Overall a very nice place and I would come back.

If you want to try authentic Portuguese food ,reasonably priced with great ambiance and fantastic service, then you should visit Valenca Restaurant! There is plenty of space for a big gathering and free valet parking... enjoyed my visit for sure!
