I did not want to eat at this restaurant but my family insisted… I must say everything was perfect! The service was impeccable. The soup was great and the pasta were fantastic. A bit pricey, sure but very recommendedable nevertheless.

My boyfriend and I wanted to have the Olive Garden experience. We are New Yorkers so we have experienced plenty of amazing authentic Italian food. This was fun for sure. It’s a MASSIVE restaurant. We got a nice table by the window. The food was decent, not horrible, what you would expect from Olive Garden. We got soup and breadsticks and pastas. I wouldn’t go again for another 5-10 years but it was fun.

Man, I never thought I would visit an Olive Garden in NYC, much less give them 5-stars, but here we are. Had out of country guests who wanted to try the "famous" American chain they had heard all about so we stopped by this flagship location right on the heart of Times Square at 6:15PM on a Saturday night. Got the last table near the bar with outdoor views of the mayhem that is Times Square (costumes, blunts, drunk teenagers near to having sex on the sidewalk). Waiter (Wilson) was one of the hardest workers we have ever seen - he was single handedly taking orders, making drinks, clearing and cleaning tables, and delivering food. We told him we only had an hour to make a show and he said he would take care of it (he did, we left right on time). He quickly brought us water and nice $8 cocktails. Salad, soup, and bread sticks arrived next and he was quickly on top of refills and second rounds (shocked they honor the "never-ending salad and soup" at this location). Finally, entrees arrived shortly after. We all know what Olive Garden tastes like and this was that exactly - delicious crisp salad, buttery salty bread, large bowls of hearty, hot, and salty soup. Entrees were large and just like the Italian you get at other fast food Italian places. Prices are 10-20% more than your local Garden, but for Times Square and the quantity of food, this may be one of the best bargains in 10 blocks (other more "local" nearby Italian was closer to double the price of here). We all could not believe how fast we were able to have a 3 course sit down meal (at our request) and all left stuffed and happy with our fast taste of Italian favorites. Will I be back here on my own in future visits? Not likely because that's not why I travel but hooray for Wilson and those who need their fix, this place delivered. Grazie!

Huge restaurant, thr chain's largest restaurant, so it's a bit hard to relate the atmosphere. They do manage to give the feeling of an Italian restaurant, even though the place is very American. The portions are huge and the bread and salads come free. All in all, the food was quite tasty and for the price they charge, we really enjoyed it. Our waiter was also exceptional and gave a very pleasant feeling even though he had many tables .

This is a great option at Times Square. Good view and good food. Not too busy. We didn’t have to wait for table.
